Guide Dogs Queensland are seeking enthusiastic part-time Canine Attendants to join the team at our Breeding and Training centre at Bald Hills.
Canine Attendants are responsible for creating and maintaining a high quality kennel environment that ensures the health and well-being of the Guide Dogs Queensland Colony are always a priority.
Canine Attendants perform general canine duties and tasks including administrative tasks relating to the health and general husbandry of the dogs in our care. This may include bathing, grooming, health checking, weighing, exercising, feeding and toileting.
Facilities operate 365 days per year, including all public holidays. Canine Attendants will cover shifts including early morning, evening and weekend work.
About You
You will have a Certificate III in Animal Studies or experience working in kennels, veterinary clinics or boarding facilities as well as an Open drivers licence and an up to date tetanus vaccination.
