Regional Client Liaison Officer

Guide Dogs Queensland (GDQ) is seeking a well-presented admin professional to join our Client Services team based in Townsville.

The role is responsible for delivering excellent customer service and administration and being able to professionally interact with a wide range of stakeholders. This includes working collaboratively with all GDQ staff, including allied health practitioners, clients, volunteers and supporters

Reporting to the Pathways Practice Leader, this position is responsible for:

  • The Scheduling of client appointments for the Allied Health Team in a friendly, accurate, and timely customer focused manner.
  • Operating as part of the administrative team to meet operational and strategic goals.
  • Scheduling of Allied Health regional trip for appointments with clients in Queensland.
  • Providing prompt and professional client intake and triage services in alignment with Client Services processes, generating referrals.
  • Following up clients after their initial contact, providing advice on our client services and NDIS funding that is available at GDQ.
  • Maintaining accurate and up to date records on the Client Database from Service Agreements, Medicare information, medical conditions, next of kin.

The role also provides reception and administration coverage for our Townsville office.

About You

Our successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Previous work experience in a similar role, preferably in an Allied Health setting.
  • Excellent phone manner and Customer Service skills and attention to detail.
  • Previous work experience managing internal projects and scheduling.
  • Excellent administration and computer skills, including advanced Microsoft Office skills.
