Warehouse Assistant

Guide Dogs Queensland is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to join our Commercial Operations team. This is a full-time, 12 month contract position. This position carries out general warehouse activities in our Bald Hills warehouse.

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, this position is also responsible for:

  • Assisting with stock take activities;
  • Pack and dispatch customer orders;
  • Opening, sorting and placing letters and other brochures or promotional materials in envelopes ready for posting;
  • Coordinate the unloading, storage and loading of all goods.

About You

You will have experience working in a warehouse or similar environment. You will be able to demonstrate attention to detail while completing repetitive tasks and you will show you work well in both a team environment and autonomously. Computer literacy, problem solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with changing priorities will see you succeed in this position.
